SAMBA, Mar 31: A motorcyclist was killed tonight in a road mishap at a village in Ramgarh area of the district.
According to a police spokesman, a youth identified as Neeraj Sharma (age about 18-20 years), son of Ganesh Pal, resident of Mahaal Kalandrian, was on his way to his residence on a bike when he rammed into a stationary tractor-trolley near Tara Palace in Ramgarh area.
He said that the collision was so strong that the motorcyclist was killed on the spot. “The body of the deceased was shifted to Government Hospital, Ramgarh for post mortem”, the spokesman said, adding, the Ramgarh police had taken cognizance of the matter.
