JAMMU, Apr 1: The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu is organizing the 1st State Universities Sports Championships from April 3, 2017 at the University Sports Stadium, here.
The event which will conclude on April 9, 2017 will witness the participation of the teams from the University of Jammu, University of Kashmir, SKUAST (J), SKUAST (K), SKIMS Srinagar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Jammu, BGSB University Rajouri, SMVDU Katra, NIT Kashmir, Islamic University of Science & Technology Kashmir, Central University Jammu and Central University Kashmir.
The Championships will be held in Cricket (M&W), Football (M), Volleyball (M&W), Basketball (M&W), Badminton(M&W) and Table-Tennis (M&W).
The opening ceremony of the Championships will be held on April 3 at 10.30 a.m.
