JAMMU, Apr 3: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State vice president Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today held a special convention of the workers from Srinagar and Budgam districts in which she appealed to the cadres to campaign door-to-door in favour of the coalition candidate of PDP for Srinagar-Budgam-Ganderbal Parliamentary Constituency Nazir Ahmad Khan.
Dr Andrabi said that she knows Nazir Ahmad Khan for a decade now and she has found that he is a very dynamic and dedicated social and political activist. She said that voting in favour of Nazir Ahmad Khan means voting in favour of peace and development. She said that Nazir is a politician attached to his roots and such politicians only care for the aspirations of the people.
Dr Andrabi said that the opposition was trying their best to incite people against the ruling coalition candidates through vicious propaganda of hate to meet their political ends. “Politics of opportunism needs to be rejected once and for all times so that we are on the road of progress and development in the real meaning of it,” said Dr Darakhshan Andrabi.
