JAMMU, Apr 6: The Yoga Hall at MA Stadium and the Indoor Complex reopened today after a gap of one month.
The Yoga Hall and the periphery area of the main Indoor Complex have now been refurbished with the new German made ‘Tarkatt Vanyle’ flooring.
Ranjeet Kalra, Vice Chairman Sports Council Jammu and Member of BCCI along with young and budding players inaugurated the Hall with new flooring in a simple but impressive function.
The flooring will provide the much needed cushion and prevent injury and stress.
The flooring has been laid after initial concretizing of the base line.
Mr Kalra also inspected the work on the new change room in the indoor complex that will be operational soon.
Kalra on this occasion, on behalf of the Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Waheed Ur-Rehmn Parra also complimented the engineering wing of the council for their tireless efforts in raising new sports infrastructure in the State.
With the new flooring, the Gymnastics performing area in the Indoor Stadium has also been extended by ten feet.
Ms Krupali Singh, Member of the Sports Council, Satish Gupta Manager Indoor Complex, SP Singh, Manisha Gupta (Coaches) and Sarabjeet Singh, players and staff of Sports Council were present on the occasion.
