JAMMU, Oct 17: Government College for Women (GCW) Parade thrashed GCW Gandhi Nagar by a margin of 10 goals in the final to lift the title trophy in the ongoing Inter-District (Men and Women) Handball Championship, here today.
GCW Parade girls displayed fabulous skill and class and drubbed GCW Gandhi Nagar girls by twelve goals to two (12-2) in a one-sided affair.
Earlier, in the first semifinal match of men’s section, PG Department, Jammu University defeated SPMR Commerce College by 12 goals (36-24) to seal berth in the finals, while in another semifinal match, GDC Paloura drubbed GDC Kathua by 9 goals in an easy to enter final.
