RCC Srinagar drubs CCA by 33 runs in Summer Endurance 50-Over Tourney

JAMMU, Apr 22: Riding on brilliant performances by Musaif Ajaz, Praful Dhar, Sachin Sharma and Dikshant Kundal, Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) Srinagar defeated Country Cricket Academy (CCA) by 33 runs in the ongoing Summer Endurance Under-16 League 50-Over Cricket Tournament at Gharota Cricket Academy ground, here.
The Tournament is being organized by Country Cricket Academy with an objective to help youngsters build their temperament.
Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, RCC scored a good total of 190 runs in 35 overs, losing 5 wickets in the process. Musaif Ajaz played a magnificent innings of 75 runs, while Sachin Sharma and Dikshant Kundal contributed 39 and 34 runs to the total respectively. For CCA, Chitra took 2 important wickets, while Dhruv, Kanav, Agaste and Ashim Nanda claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, CCA managed to score 157 runs in 35 overs by losing 9 wickets, thus lost the match by 33 runs. Yuvraj Saini played a brilliant knock of 48 runs, while Avinash and Agaste contributed 20 and 13 runs to the total respectively. For RCC Srinagar, Praful Dhar was the pick of the bowlers, who bagged 3 important wickets, while Musaif Ajaz and Abhinav Khajuria bagged 2 wickets each and Ashank claimed one wicket.
The match was officiated by Dayal Singh and Deepak Singh as umpires.
