SAMBA, Apr 26: As a part of continuous drive launched against the criminals by the District Police Samba an absconder was arrested by Police Station Ramgarh today.
He has been identified as Sunny Kumar S/o Girdhari Lal R/o Krishna Nagar, Jammu who was evading his arrest since long for his involvement in case FIR No. 31/2008 U/S 452/323 RPC of P/S Ramgarh.
The raid was conducted on the directions of SSP Samba Anil Magotra, and a police team of Police Station Ramgarh headed by SHO P/S Ramgarh and under the close supervision of SDPO Vijaypur, made the arrest. The accused person was produced in the court of law and after executing the warrant under 512 CrPC. against him, he was lodged in Sub-District Jail Hiranagar.
