LOS ANGELES, Apr 27: Adam Levine paid tributes to former “The Voice” contestant Christina Grimmie with a touching performance on the popular singing reality show.
The 38-year-old Maroon 5 frontman, who is also one of the judges on the “The Voice”, performed ‘Hey Jude’ with his team to honour the late songstress, reported AceShowbiz.
“God, I loved her so much. I am talking to you guys specifically. I’m talking to everybody. I miss her. It is unfair she is not here. We are going to sing a little song. I am going to be singing every word to her in her honour. Thank you for being here. Christina, we love you,” Levine said.
Grimmie was gunned down at the Plaza Live theatre in Orlando on June 10, 2016 by an obsessed fan, Kevin Loibl. She was 22. (PTI)
