JAMMU, Apr 28: Additional Director General of Police Armed J&K, L Mohanti inaugurated the newly renovated APCR (Armed Police Control Room) Complex and a Fabricated Hut in its premises at Parade Ground here.
The ADGP Armed J&K was joined by DIG Armed Jammu Alok Kumar, DIG IR Jammu Vijay Kumar and SSP Mohd Yaseen Kichloo (Staff officer to ADGP Armed J&K), amidst a galaxy of senior Police officers at the inaugural ceremony. The other officers present on the occasion included Commandants of IRP-4th, IRP-7th, IRP-10th, IRP-14th and IRP-15th Battalions, besides SSP PCR, SP APCR, Addl SP PCR Jammu and DySP APCR Jammu.
The renovation of APCR complex Jammu include PVC panelling of walls, tile flooring, fixtures of Aluminium frames to doors and windows in all rooms, cabins, attach bathroom and face lifting of main entrance of the complex besides electric fitting and painting etc.
The entire renovation work and fabrication of hut was completed in a record time of one month under the overall supervision of ML Kaith SP APCR Jammu at a cost of Rs 6 lakh. The funds for the purpose were provided by Police Headquarters.
While speaking on the occasion ADGP Armed appreciated the efforts of Kaith and DySP APCR Jammu Ragunath Singh for execution of the renovation work in a well-planned manner without effecting the performance of their day to day duties of multifarious nature.
While apprising the ADGP Armed about the previous condition of APCR and the details of renovation work executed by him on the occasion, SP APCR Jammu Mohan Lal Kaith expressed his heart felt gratitude to DGP J&K for providing funds for the purpose and the ADGP Armed J&K and his Staff Officer for extending moral support and guidance which helped him a lot in planning the renovation work.
