This has the reference to the editorial ‘Countering Pakistani Propaganda ‘ DE Apr 22 . As Pakistan has bitter experience of losing full scale wars with India, in 1947, 1965 & 1971 so Pakistan has changed its strategy from such wars to proxy war against India.
Moreover, they (Pak & ISI) have succeeded in their evil designs of deteriorating situation in the Kashmir valley. The author has brought the true picture of Pak and ISI sponsored terrorism in the J&K state. The radicalization of the kashmiri youths, provision of funds and strategic support with the help of sympathizers is a major factor responsible for the present situation in the state. Sealing of LOC and IB would certainly bring down the graph of infiltration which is a major source of Pak sponsored terrorism but will not completely eradicate the militancy from the state as there is dire need to address the general people of Kashmir. The suggestion of the author to join hands by all political parties to evolve a policy to address the issue of all the three regions of the state is good but the fact remains that some regional/Kashmir centric political parties want the pot boiling for their vested interests and lust of power.
