JAMMU, May 2: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association is organizing District Power Lifting Championships in men and women categories to select the players for the upcoming J&K State Power Lifting Champio-nship to be held on June 11 at RKM Gym, Upper Gummat, Kanji House, here.
The Jammu District Championship will be held on May 14 at Power House Gym, Gangyal. The body weight to be taken at RKM Gym on May 13 from 5 to 6 pm.
The Kathua District Championship will be held on May 6 at Raja Health Club, Kathua. The body weight will be taken on same day from 8 to 9 am.
The Doda District Champio-nship will be held on May 21 at Stayfit Health Club, GB Plaza, Circular Road, Doda and body weight will be taken on same day from 8 to 9 am.
The Srinagar District Championship will be held on May 21 at Rich Life Gym, Bemina, Srinagar and body weighing will to be taken from 8 to 9 am on same day.
The Rajouri District Championship will be held on May 5 at Chopra Gym, near Mini Sport Ground, Rajouri and body weighing will be taken on same day from 8 to 9 am.
The Samba District Champi-onship will be held on May 21 at Powerhouse Gym, Gangyal and body weighing will be taken on same day from 8 to 9 am.
The decision to conduct the district power lifting championships was taken in a meeting of J&K Sports Power Lifting Association held in presence of Rajan Jain, General secretary, Samrat Singh Jamwal, Member, Naremder Singh Manhas, Secretary, Megha Jain, Women Secretary and other office bearers of the Association.
