JAMMU, May 3: In an appeal filed by Vishal Dhar, 1st Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Mohd Akram Chowdhary today stayed the order of Sub-Registrar whereby stay regarding keeping one post vacant in the Jammu Club under wards category was vacated.
After hearing Advocate Vikram Sharma appearing for the appellant, court observed, “respondents had filed a caveat through their counsel and pursuant to filing of appeal, notice was issued to counsel who had appeared and filed power of attorney on behalf of the respondents”.
“The caveat is discharged and counsel for the respondents sought adjournment of the case to enable him to file objections to the interim application moved along with the appeal”, the court said.
In the meanwhile, on the basis of the pleadings of the appellant coupled with the submission made by his counsel, court stayed the order of Sub-Registrar subject to objections from the other side.
