JAMMU, May 5: Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, today kick started construction work of a community hall at Aap Shambhu Mandir in Ward No 52, Sai Vihar, Marble Market, Jammu with the estimated cost of Rs 5 lakh.
Kavinder Gupta was accompanied by Balder Billawria, Jammu BJP district president, senior BJP leader, Ajay Pargal, and Gandhi Nagar BJP Mandal president, Ankush Gupta.
While speaking on the occasion, Kavinder said that it was the long pending demand to construct the hall so that the worshipper’s may not face any difficulty in hot and rainy days.
Kavinder said that overall development is our prime motto and we are always ready to undertake every small and big developmental work which provides global benefits to the society.
Later, on the request of senior BJP leader, Ajay Pargal, who is also the local resident of Ward No 52, Kavinder toured across the ward and listened to the problems being faced by the residents. People apprised Kavinder Gupta about their problems of lane-drain, irregular water supply and damaged roads. The Speaker assured the residents that their demands will be fulfilled as early as possible.
