KATHUA, May 5: Excise Department destroyed 750 kilograms lahan and two working stills.
As per official spokesman, on the directions of the Excise Commissioner Mohammad Javed Khan and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Ghanshyam Singh, the Excise Team Kathua led by ETO Excise Range Kathua, Sandeep Gupta and ETO Eradication Wing Jammu, Suraj Chander Singh along with Inspectors Excise Arun Kumar and Shadi Lal and Excise staff raided the Ghati, Dhabwal and Birsochak areas of Kathua district.
During raids, the team destroyed two working stills and more than 750 kilograms of lahan.
