Baramulla , May 6: A group of sixteen girls from Uri who are on an Army sponsored capacity building tour met Governor of Karnataka State today.
A defence spokesman said the girls interacted with the Governor Vajubhai Vala.
The Governor shared his experiences from his school days and exhorted the girls to keep working hard and focus on their studies for their better future.
The Capacity Building Tour is being organised by the Kalapahar Brigade. The girls also got an opportunity to witness the live IPL cricket match between the RCB and Kings XI Punjab teams.
The girls have also visited the software giants like INFOSYS and ORACLE in Bangalore and scheduled to interact with President of India when they visit Delhi, the defence official added.
