RAJOURI, May 9: One person was killed while two other injured when a car went out of control and fell into a Nallah at Manjakote in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that three persons including a woman and a four year old child, were seriously injured when a Maruti car No. JK02AH/ 5490 went out of control and rolled down into the Nullah near Khan Market in Mendhar town.
The people from the area and police from local Police Station rushed to the spot and they removed the injured to Rajouri hospital where one of them was declared as dead. She was identified as Nayama Kouser, wife of Mohd Riaz, resident of Galuti village in Manjakote. Mohd Zaheer, son of Walayat Hussain of Galuti village and his 4-year-old son were critically injured and were admitted to District Hospital, Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
