Lal Singh sends off ace Fencer Vansh for Jr Singapore C’ship

JAMMU, May 16: Ch. Lal Singh, Minister for Forest, Ecology & Environment in an impressive function held here today flagged off ace Fencer Vansh Mahajan for the forthcoming Junior Singapore Fencing Championship to be held at Singapore from May 26 to May 28, 2017.
The Minister wished Vansh good luck for the Championship and assured him of all the help from his side.
Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were Vijay Sharma, Patron J&K Amateur Fencing Association; Shotu Lal, Fencing Coach;  International Fencer Ujjwal Gupta; Ajay Khartol, Karunesh Gupta, Anil Padha and Rajinder Kumar.
On the occasion, Lal Singh highlighted the achievements of Vansh Mahajan and said that he had already represented India in Junior and Cadet Commonwealth Fencing Championship at Cape  Town South Africa  in the  year 2015 and Thailand  Fencing  Championship and Hongkong Fencing  Championship  in 2016.
The Minister also announced Vansh as Ambassador of J&K Forest Department.
