JAMMU, May 16: Narwal police under Operation Sanjeevani arrested a man along with heroin.
As per police sources, a team from Narwal police post apprehended a man along with 3.30 grams heroin and weighing machines.
The accused has been identified as Shivam Sharma, son of Ravi Kant, a resident of Sanjay Nagar.
A case under FIR Number 113/17 under Section 8/21 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against the accused at Bahu Fort police station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
Police team led by Incharge Narwal police post SI Wasim Mehraj made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Bharat Sharma, SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP Headquarters RC Kotwal.
