JAMMU, May 21: 15th Jammu District Karate Do Championship 2017 was organized by Jammu District Karate Do Association, under the aegis of Amateur Karate Do Association of Jammu & Kashmir at Dogra Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, here today.
About 100 students drawn from different School and Clubs participated in the Championship.
Dharamveer Jamwal, former Deputy Mayor and Ghambir Dev Singh Charak, Vice President RGFI were the Chief Guests on the occasion, while Dr. Rajesh Sharma presided over the function.
The chief guest lauded the efforts put in by the Instructors and District Karate Association members for exploring and providing the opportunities to the upcoming sportspersons to hone their sporting skills.
The event was organized under the supervision of Technical Committee of the District Association.
Manoj Mehra, Sanjeev Dewan, Naresh Chander, Brijesh Bhau and Amit Singh (Members of the State Association) were also present on the occasion.
