REASI, May 25: Continuing its drive under CSE, Salal Power Station of NHPC Limited provided five Solar lights for Kounsarnag Yatra base camp.
These Solar lights were handed today by Ravinder Kumar, District Development Commissioner, Reasi and A G Ansari, Executive Director, Salal Power Station, to Tankan Dass Sharma, president, Kounsarnag Yatra Committee.
Speaking on the occasion, A G Ansari said that the Solar lights have been provided to facilitate pilgrims visiting Kounsarnag Yatra, which is gaining popularity. He further said that if required, more solar lights shall be provided for convenience of the pilgrims.
Pertinent to mention that Salal Power Station had recently provided Solar lights to 98 beneficiaries of five un-electrified villages of District Reasi under CSR.
