Sukhnandan distributes financial assistance among 50 beneficiaries

JAMMU, May 27: Keeping the pace of developmental works on, former Minister and MLA Marh Sukhnandan Choudhary today kick started black toping of about two kilometre of road from Doaana Morh to Channi village in Tawi island area in Marh constituency which will be completed at the estimated cost of Rs.25.00 lakh this was a long pending demand of the people of the area.
On the ocassion  former Minister asserted  that he is committed to deliver to the people what he has promised during election & need people’s support to implement  the Government sponsered schemes in his Constituency.
He also said that development works in Marh Constituency are going on in full swing and appealed  people of the Constituency to contribute  in this effort by way of giving  effective feed back and suggestions.
In another simple but impresive function at Mandal (Tawi island)
Sukhnandan Kumar distributed financial assistance to about 50  beneficiaries of  village Mandal in Marh Constituency  amountig Rs.12000/ each who had constructed Individual House Hold Toilets (IHHL). The former Minister met these individuals and congratulated them in taking the initiative towards a clean India under Swachh Bharat Mission scheme launched by Modi Govt at the Centre. He said that eliminating open defecation shall be favourable for environment and public hygiene.
On the ocassion he said that  aroundv90% households in number of panchayats of Marh Constituency shall have toilets by the end of current financial year and directed officials for strict adherence to Swachh Bharat Mission targets.
Officials of PWD, BDO Mandal Bodh Raj and other officials of Rural Development Department, Mandal president BJP Tawi area Kuldeep singh, Angrez Singh, Babbu Verma and a large no. of political  activists of the area we’re also present on the ocassion.
