Srinagar, May 27: Rs 16 lakh were stolen from ATM of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in Handwara area of Kupwara district last night.
Sources said that the money was stolen during last night. They said that the entire cash of Rs 16 lakh were stolen after the burglars broke the ATM.
There have been couple of attempts in South Kashmir of ATM thefts but those ATMs were cashless.
Police have registered a case and are investing the matter.
