JAMMU, May 28: BJP Jammu West district conducted one day training workshop for whole-timers of the party.
Party State president and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion. He along with district president Ayodhya Gupta and many other senior leaders of the party guided the party activists who have volunteered to work as whole timers for the spread of party base.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the activists said that in this birth centenary year of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay BJP activists have to work whole heartedly for the welfare of the public as we have resolved to work as whole timers. He said that “we need to extend the reach of party to every section of society, including the other organizations and person working individually for the society”. He said that the activists must have a direct access to the common masses and share their joys and sorrows. He also asked all to promote the party ideology and the schemes related to the public.
He said “we must promote the plantation drive, maternal benefit scheme for ladies, Ujjawala Yojna, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and other schemes initiated by the Centre Government led by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi”. Every activist must attend to the public in the area allotted to them, he added.
Member Legislative Council (MLC) Surinder Ambardar threw light on the history and works of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay. He said that Pt. Deen Dayal was a great social worker and ideologist, and due to his vision, today we have entered into an era of development under PM Modi.
BJP State spokesman Brigadier Anil Gupta explained that what must be the qualities for whole timers before going into the public life.
BJP state vice-president Rajni Sethi spoke on the ideology and the working system of the party.
Later Ayodhya Gupta thanked all the dignitaries and the participants. Jaidev Rajwal, Praduman Singh, Jugal Kishore Gupta, Mohan Singh Rana, Vijay Sharma, Jeet Angral, Sanjita Dogra were among the prominent persons present in the workshop.
