Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) defeated Indian Railways, New Delhi, 71-52 in a league match in the 52nd All-India Basketball Tournament for Natchimuthu Gounder Cup here today.
Pratham Singh led the way for IOB with 14 points while Somveer scored 11 points for the losers.
In the second men’s match, Income Tax beat Indian Air Force 79-69.
In a closely contested women’s match for the 16th CRI Pumps Trophy, Northern Frontier Railway defeated Coimbatore District Basketball Association 75-70.
In another contest, KSEB defeated Chattisgarah State 43-39. Nimmi Mathew scored 13 points for the winner. PTI
