SAMBA, May 31: One teenager died while three others were injured in two road accidents in Samba district today.
According to reports a student of 11th class who was identified as Rahul Thappa, 17, S/O Kamal Kishore of Gho Rukhwala died after his scooty bearing registration number JK21 C-5037 was hit by a truck bearing registration number JK0BE6702 at Rara today. He was He was the student of Shiksha Niketan School Sector Ramgarh. The dead body was shifted to CHC Ramgarh for postmortem. The police have seized the truck however the driver fled after accident.
The Police has also registered a case in this regard and started man hunt for driver.
In another accident three teenagers were injured after a tractor hit a motor cycle bearing registration number PBO6L5590 at Swanka. The injured were identified as motor cyclist Haresh Kumar, S/O Romesh Lal and two pillion riders Kabi, 14, S/O Bodh Raj and Arun , 15, S/O Ashok Kumar. All were residents of Chah Chattaka Sector Ramgarh. The injured were first taken to CHC Ramgarh and later shifted to Pathankote Hospital for treatment.
The tractor driver who was identified as Vinay Kumar was arrested by police and tractor seized.
