JAMMU, June 1: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) fraternity accorded warm send off to one of its leaders on his retirement, as a mark of respect and recognition of his glorious service to the organization and also to live the high culture and tradition of the force.
SN Singh, Commandant, 187 Battalion CRPF retired from the force on May 31 after serving the organization and country for more than 35 years.
During such a long span of service, SN Singh served in almost all the hotbeds of internal security such as Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and J&K. Besides, he had also rendered his service in the elite Special Protection Group (SPG) for 12 years. With his devotion to work and excellent display of leadership, he has commanded the respect of his juniors and trust of his seniors. His good work and long experience has brought him respect and dignity.
K Vijay Kumar, Inspector General of Police (IGP), CRPF, J&K  Zone and AV Chauhan, IGP, CRPF Jammu Sector appreciated the valuable contribution of SN Singh for the betterment of the force and showered their best wishes for his future. Many other senior officers of CRPF also attended the programme and wished SN Singh for his happy life.
The entire CRPF fraternity wished SN Singh a good health, a very happy and comfortable retirement life with his family, which he truly deserves after devoting three and a half golden decades of his life to the organization and country.
