No truth in Pak claim of casualty of five Indian security personnel: Army

NEW DELHI: Indian Army today said there was no truth in the claim made by Pakistani forces about casualty of five Indian security personnel along the border.

A tweet from Pakistan Army in this connection is totally “erroneous”, army sources said here today. The reference was to a micro blogging missive from Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, who had said: “Indian unprovoked CFV (Ceasefire Violation) at Tatta Pani along LOC, violently responded. Indian bunkers destroyed, 5 Indian sldrs killed many injured”.

The Indian Army sources, however, said there were some ceasefire violations since yesterday but from 1300 hours today, there were “no firings”. Moreover, there was “no casualty except injury to one woman yesterday”. (AGENCIES)
