PSA declares open Coaching Camp for budding cricketers

JAMMU, June 4: To hone and fine-tune skill of young cricketers, premier Parade Sports Association (PSA) and Laxmi Cricket Club declared open Summer Coaching Camp for budding cricketers (12 to 16 years) of Jammu at Parade ground, here today.
The Camp will be held under the supervision of experts, wherein the focus will be given fitness of the players, development of mental strength and rectification of technical faults of these young cricketers.
It is second such Camp being organized by the Association as the first one was organized last year.
Around 60 cricketers are taking part in this Camp to polish their skills.
Apart from getting tips from the members of PSA and LCC, the young cricketers will be imparted training by former Ranji Trophy cricketers including Ranjit Bali, Sanjay Sharma, Sameer Khajuria, Pardeep Bali and likes.
It is pertinent to mention here that Parade Sports Association and Laxmi Cricket Club have been organizing Camps and Cricket Tournaments on regular basis with an aim to promote cricket and cricketers in Jammu. For that matter, the Associations and Clubs which hold number of activities for cricket promotion need to be affiliated with Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association to produce good stuff from the State.
