JAMMU, June 8: Ace climber and National medalist, Aman Dogra along with another climber Muskan Abrol while crying foul alleged favouritism in selection by Tawi Trekkers J&K, the custodian of trekking and climbing events.
Mr Dogra and Miss Muskan while addressing media persons at Press Club here today said that despite being a National speed climbing champion, he was ignored for the ongoing National Camp being held at Delhi, adding that favouritism and nepotism is marring talent in the State.
He said that the selection of coaches and selectors is also not made on merit, adding that those who have been assigned the job of coaching and selection, hardly have much wisdom or credibility.
Mr Aman further said that among the National medalists, he has only been ignored, while others are part of the ongoing India Camp.
