JAMMU, June 10: A 2-day Pencak Silat Training Camp and National Level Referee/Judges Camp was organized by Pencak Silat Association of J&K, under the banner of Indian Pencak Silat Federation, which concluded here today.
Over 100 students took part in this Camp and learnt skills and techniques related to the game, while around 30 candidates attended the referee course, conducted by Vinod Verma, North Zone In-charge Pencak Silat from Haryana.
The Camp was organized under the supervision of President Pencak Silat Association of J&K, Gourav Sharma.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pencak Silat is a Martial Art recognized by Olympic Council of Asia.
