JAMMU, June 10: BIG Golden Voice Junior today announced Ridima Bajpai as the winner from Jammu in a tough competition held at Hotel KC Residency, here.
The other finalists were Saisha Gupta, Harshit Sharma, Sargam Sharma, Saibaa Gupta, Aarush Gupta & Simran Jaswal.
Following the auditions round, 20 finalists were chosen from Jammu out of which 7 were selected for City Finale and now 1 is selected as the winner of the city finale round.
A contender to the bigger reward, she has already battled participants in abundance and will now compete with eleven other finalists from across the country to win the coveted title of the ‘BIG Golden Voice Junior’.
The event witnessed an array of singers showcasing their singing talent as popular artist – Suraj Singh & Sonali Dogra judged contestants and mentored them. The judge arbitrated the winner on the basis of the contestants’ selection of song, rhythm, tone as well as the overall impact they left the crowd with.
Chief Guest, Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, while congratulating the winner pinned high hopes that Ridima would make Jammu proud at this prestigious National Platform being provided by BIG FM.
Also present on the occasion Chairman CII & Sahai Group of Companies, Rahul Sahai who completely impressed by the kids’ talent and BIG FM’s initiative, highly appreciated the efforts of the radio channel in bringing up such innovative Talent hunts in such an entertaining way.
Speaking about the initiative Programming Head 92.7 BIG FM Vikrant Sharma said, ” It is more refreshing to see kids singing and definitely it’s a great initiative. Events like BIG Golden voice Junior not only encourage young talent in the country but also promise to bring fresh and exciting content to our listeners. He further said that BIG FM will continue providing such big platforms for the talent of Jammu in future too”.
