2 CRPF men hurt in grenade attack

Srinagar, June 12:  Militants tonight fired a grenade from Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) towards a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp at Tral in South Kashmir injuring 2 CRPF men.
Militants fired a grenade at 180 Battalion of CRPF at main town Tral tonight. The grenade exploded near the gate of the camp injuring two CRPF men. They were removed to hospital where their condition is stated to be stable.
Police and Army immediately reached the spot and joined CRPF to conduct searches in the nearby locality but militants had managed to flee under the cover of darkness.
A police spokesman said that grenade attack caused minor injury to two CRPF men. He said that search operation in the area is going on against the militants who fired the grenade.
