ICC ODI rankings: Kohli leads batting spot, Dhawan and Jadeja in top ten

DUBAI: In the latest ICC One-day International (ODI) rankings, Indian maverick Virat Kohli recouped the top position in the batting list.

The Indian skipper eclipsed the South African calypso AB De Villiers and Australian pocket monster David Warner following his unbeaten 81 against Pakistan and 76 not out against South Africa.

Indian southpaw Shikhar Dhawan has jumped five places in the rankings occupying the tenth spot, credits to the knocks of 68 against Pakistan, 125 against Sri Lanka and 78 against South Africa.

However, opener Rohit Sharma and former Indian captain M S Dhoni have skid down to the 13th and the 14th position while the king of sling, Yuvraj Singh scooted up six points to 88th spot.

In the bowling ranks, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar shares the 23rd spot with Afghanistan’s Hamza Hotak jumping ahead 13 places. Umesh Yadav moved up two spots to stand in the 41st rank and Jasprit Bumrah gained three places to be 43rd. (AGENCIES)
