KATHUA, June 14: Hiranagar Foot Ball Club won the quarterfinal match of the 2nd Football Gold Cup Hiranagar- 2017 and sealed berth in the semifinal, here today
The quarterfinal match was played between Hiranagar Football Club and Chandwan Football club.
In the first half, Hiranagar Club scored 4 goals and Chandwan Club netted only one goal.
In the second half, Hiranagar Club scored four more goals to win the match by (8-1).
Sahil Kumar and Ashwani Kumar from Hiranagar were the star performers, who scored maximum goals.
The winner team Hiranagar Football Club was presented a trophy by chief guest, Advocate Vijay Sharma.
The second Football Gold Cup Tournament, in which 16 teams are taking part, is being organized by Hiranagar Football Association.
