JAMMU, June 14: Rural Women Foundation Organization and JPPF organized one day seminar on the topic of “Women and Drug Addiction” at Gandhi Nagar, here today.
On the occasion, RC Kotwal, SP Headquarters Jammu was the chief guest, while Mohinder Singh Katoch, Working President, JPPF was the guest of honour.
SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal presented mementoes to Sheetal Nanda, DC Samba, Priya Sambyal, Chairperson of Erra Fashion-Institute, Shashi Thakur, DySP Railways Jammu, Anita Kattal, Inspector Women Cell Jammu and SI Neelam Saini for their dedication and whole hearted service towards the society.
Priya Sambyal, Chairperson Erra Fashion Institute said that police officers play a vital role for the upliftment of the women folk and appealed to the higher police authority to deploy the female police officer in every police station.
Earlier, Sunita Sharma, President, Rural Women Foundation Organization presented the welcome address.
Justice Pavitar Singh, Narayan Singh, Inderjeet Khajuria, Avinash Bhatia, BS Sambyal, Pritam Sharma, Baldev Singh Baloria, Ashok Khajuria, Uday Chand, SP Slathia, Lovely Sharma, Anita Choudhary and many others were present on the occasion.
