REASI, June 14: Senior Congress leader and former minister Jugal Kishore Sharma expressed deep concern over ‘denial’ of  basic minimum facilities to the people and alleged that Government has failed on all fronts.
While addressing meeting of Block Congress Committee of Pouni  today, Sharma said that the BJP-PDP coalition has already failed on all fronts. He said that Reasi and Pouni blocks are experiencing water crisis for the last one month, however, PHE Department has failed to deliver.
He claimed that people were facing water scarcity.
Jugal Kishore  further said that people are looking towards Congress to get rid of the mis-governance and mal-administration of  PDP-BJP Government. People of J&K have realized that only Congress has vision to solve their problems. Present regime has failed to come up to the expectations of the people. PDP-BJP rule had failed to implement pro-people agenda and instead set an example of mis-governance.
During the Congress regime,  supply of basic amenities like power, water and ration were streamlined and sincere steps were taken to solve day to day problems. He also said that previous  NC-Congress coalition  had sanctioned Sub-Division status for Pouni but the present government has failed to establish the same. He said there is urgent need to provide Tehsil status for Ransoo as the Ransoo is base camp for Shiv Khori shrine as a large number of pilgrims visit this cave shrine.
Prominent among those present in the meeting included,  district president Pritam Singh, Block president Ajit Kesar,  Adv Vijay Sharma,  Amit Sharma, Bishan Magotra, Raju Pandotra, Dev Raj Bhagat, Rashpal Sharma,   Kewal Krishan,  Sudesh Kumar, Pal Chand, Swarn Singh, Subash Chander, Suraj Kumar, Vijay Kumar and Manoj Kumar.
