SRINAGAR, Oct 25: Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today gave away prizes at the finale of T20 Cricket Tournament held here at SRTC ground. The final was played between Gani Memorial Cricket Club and Hawal Cricket Club. The Hawal Cricket Club lifted the trophy by beating Gani Memorial Cricket Club.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted the requirement of holding such sports events to nurture the local talent and encourage sports activities in the State. He said that his Government is paying due attention to the promotion of sports in the State and focus has been laid on the development of sports fields all across the State.
