After joining militancy, Rajouri youth returns home via Nepal

JAMMU, June 25: After joining militancy in 1999, a youth hailing from Budhal area of district Rajouri was arrested by police as he arrived his home last night.
Identified as Nissar Ahmed, son of Mubarak Shah, resident of Targain village in Budhal, he returned home last evening on the eve of  Eid.  The security agencies came to know about his arrival  and arrested him from his home today. He was shifted to Rajouri and is being interrogated.
Police sources said that Nissar was  minor when he crossed over to PoK from Rajouri sector to join Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT)  militant outfit in Pakistan during 1999. His family had lodged a missing report in this connection with police.  He remained in  militant training camp in PoK near Kotli for some time.
The youth claimed that he turned sick and got admitted to hospital in PoK and later abandoned the outfit  and started working at a shop in PoK. He worked with cloth merchant and then a medicines shop and then managed passport and Visa and went to Dubai where he worked for three years. Then after expiry of Visa he again returned to PoK and then managed Visa for Nepal visit. After staying for time there, he returned home via Uttar Pradesh  and arrived here on Saturday. He also claimed that some other youth of this area are willing to return home.
The police said that the Nissar will be sent to Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) Jammu for clearance. He is believed to be giving incorrect information. His sustained questioning is going on.
