Presidential polls

Sir,
The efforts of Congress to bring all non NDA parties on one platform to oppose and take on Modi received a jolt and a setback in respect of Presidential polls scheduled to be held early next month.  NDA  candidate for going to Raisana Hills in the Rashtrapati Bhawan is a well known and experienced figure Ram Nath Kovind , presently Governor of Bihar and just to oppose him because BJP led NDA proposed his name , Congress and Communists took a lead in fielding their candidate. Nitish Kumar of JDU a partner in the Cong. RJD, JDU Coalition Government in Bihar decided to support Kovind thus giving a jolt to Congress party .
Similarly in Punjab Vidhan Sabha interestingly arch rivals AAP,  SAD, and BJP were seen united in taking on Congress which rules Punjab over lifting of some members physically by Marshals .
The Congress musty change its style of doing politics when better sense demands cooperation and general consensus.
Yours etc….
