JAMMU, June 27: Harbhajan Singh Institution of Cricket registered convincing victory over Jammu School Cricket XI on last ball of the match played at Harbhajan Singh Institution of Cricket at Jallandhar.
Harbhajan Singh Institution of Cricket defeated Jammu School XI by 2 wickets in an exciting contest.
Batting first, Jammu School XI scored a modest total of 116 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 25 overs. Aditya Abrol top scored with 25 runs, while Abhay Tondon and Ashim Nanda chipped in with 16 and 15 runs resepctively.
From Harbhajan Singh Institution of Cricket, Sanchit, and Harshdeep took 3 wickets each, while Jatin, Sunny and Charandep claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, Harbhajan Singh Institution of Cricket chased the target by losing 8 wickets, thus won the match by 2 wickets. Bunty was the top scorer with magnificent 53 runs off 73 balls, while Jasmeet Singh contributed 20 runs and Jatin chipped in with 16 runs. From Jammu School team, Dhruv Gupta, Anmol Manhas and Abhay Tondon took 2 wickets each. Bunty was declared as the man of the match for his brilliant batting display.
