DODA, June 27: Royal Challenger Barghrawn defeated Shamthi XI in an easy contest of the ongoing All India 1st Shubash Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2017, being organized by Sunil Kalyan at Sports Stadium Bulundpur, near here.
Earlier, winning the toss, Royal Challenger Barghrawn skipper Neeraj Rajput deicided to bowl first.
Put into bat, Shamthi XI bundled out for a paltry total of 91 runs. For Royal Challenger Barghrawn, Naresh Manhas took 3 wickets in 3 overs by conceding 16 runs, while Neeraj Rajput scalped 3 wickets in his 2 overs by giving away 17 runs and Puran Manhas claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, Royal Challenger Barghrawn chased the target easily in 8.2 overs. Chander Singh top scored with 45 runs off 28 balls, while Vijay Kumar contributed 19 runs to the total. Chander Singh of Royal Challenger Barghrawn was declared as the man of the match for his best brilliant batting performance.
The match was officiated by Anjeel Singh, Sunil Kalyan, Ishtaiq Ahmed and Pappu Sarpanch.
Swami Raj was the chief guest on the occasion, who presented man of the match award to the winner on the occasion.
