JAMMU, June 30: J&K Grameen Bank Officers’ Association (JKGBOA) and J&K Grameen Bank Employees’ Association (JKGBEA) today observed strike on the call of AIRRBEA, for resolution of their long pending demands.
All comrades of both JKGBOA and JKGBEA gathered at Head Office of JKGB at Narwal and raised slogans in support of their demands, which include amendment of promotion/ recruitment rules at par with sponsor banks, no privatization of RRBs, pension parity for all RRB staff including new comers and compensation for the demonetization works at par with sponsor banks.
Their demands also include regularization of all daily waged/casual workers, allow benefits of Minimum Wages Act 1948 uniformly pending regularization in terms of NABARDs order dated 23-06-2015 addressed to all RRBs and proper representation of workmen and officers in the Board of Directors of the RRBs.
