JAMMU, June 30: Jammu and Kashmir Police recovered 96 missing mobiles from different parts of the Jammu Division and handed over to their respective owners
This was stated by SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal during a press conference here today. He was accompanied by SP Police Component, Jammu Vinay Sharma.
“Cyber Crime Cell Jammu with the help of telecom service providers recovered 96 missing mobile phones from different parts of Jammu Division and handed over to their respective owners”, Kotwal said, adding that Cyber Crime Cell Gandhi Nagar Jammu is the nodal agency to deal with the cyber issues and cyber crimes in Jammu Zone by providing technical assistance to various police units in Jammu Zone.
He informed that to recover the missing mobile phones was the initiative taken under SSP Jammu Dr Sunil Gupta, adding that in the month of September last year, 42 missing mobiles were recovered and handed over to owners.
Cyber Crime Cell is always ready to redress the grievances of general public in cyber related issues, he said, adding that further investigation of mobile tracing is going on with concerned police stations.
