DODA, July 4: Dessa police foiled bovines smuggling bid and rescued 13 cattle.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Dessa police station laid a naka at Bhata and asked a person carrying flock of bovine animals to stop.
On seeing police cops, the person escaped from the spot taking benefit of the darkness. Police rescued 13 bovine animals, which the person was carrying illegally.
A case under FIR Number 8/17 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Dessa police station and hunt has been launched to arrest the bovine smuggler.
Police team led by SHO Dessa Inspector Karan Singh foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftikhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
