JAMMU, July 5: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today paid rich tributes to its late youth leader, Anshuman Sharma, on his birth anniversary.
In this connection, some senior PDP leaders, including leaders from youth wing, led by Rajinder Manhas, district president Jammu, gathered at the party headquarters here and offered floral tributes to the youth leader, who was also the founder member of PDP in Jammu.
Manhas, in his address, described Anshuman Sharma, a dynamic and visionary leader who worked selflessly for the strengthening of the party at grassroots level.
“He was an icon of the party’s youth leadership in Jammu and played a dynamic role in recognizing the PDP among the youths of Jammu region and brought them under the party folds,” Manhas said while recalling the contributions of late youth leader.
The PDP leader said he would always remain a source of inspiration for youth leadership of the party and asked the younger generation to follow his footsteps.
