Tributes paid to Kargil martyr Udhaymaan Singh

JAMMU, July 6: 18th Shaheed Divas of Veer Udhaymaan Singh, who was martyred in Kargil war with Pakistan, was celebrated at village Shamachak (Jhiri) in outskirts of Jammu.
Vice Chairman of J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kissans, Daljit Singh Chib, Narayan Singh, president of Amar Khatriya Rajput Sabha, Rajinder Singh, State president, Kissan Morcha, Ashok Mahajan, Sarpanch, Shamachak, Retd Brigadiers, parents of Veer Udhayman Singh and a large numbers of locals were also present.
Paying floral tributes to the martyr, Daljit Singh Chib said that Veer Udhaymaan Singh is a legendary icon for all the youngsters who want to serve Indian Army and do some good for the country.
While paying tributes to the martyr soldier, Narayan Singh said that Veer Udhaymaan Singh was a brave soldier of Indian Army and lost his life at the age of 19 yrs while fighting with Pakistan at Kargil whereas Rajinder Singh said that Veer Udhaymaan Singh is an inspiration icon for all of us.
Veer Udhaymaan Singh’s mother paid tributes to him by presenting cloths to needy women and notebooks to the students of the Village Shamachak.
Meanwhile, students from Excel United Public School, Shamchak presented a colourful program to pay homage to the great martyr.
