RAMBAN, July 8: A forest guard allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a tree in the jurisdiction of Dhramkund police station, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as 50-years-old Swami Raj, son of Hari Saran, a resident of Kanga.
After conducting postmortem at District Hospital Ramban, the body of the deceased has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPc has been initiated by Dhramkund police.
