RRC settles 211 pending files in open public darbar

JAMMU, July 12: The Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Migrants M L Raina during an open darbar here, today cleared 211 pending files of different nature. These files were pending for approval in the organization.
About 400 people attended the public darbar which started at 9 am and concluded at 4 pm to get their grievances redressed on spot.
During the public darbar 14 files pertaining to bifurcation of families were cleared, 28 files were approved for bifurcation of families while 76 new ration cards were taken up for bifurcation, nine cases of transfer of ration cards were approved while orders for transfer of three ration cards were issued on spot.
Besides, 25 inclusion orders were issued on spot and 11 files were taken up for process of inclusion. Eight orders were issued for conversion of ration cards while seven files were approved for conversion and 30 PRCs were also issued during public darbar.
The Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner has appealed the migrants to approach his organization from July 25 to 30 for collection of respective orders.
The public darbar among others was also attended by MLC, Ajay Bharti and ex MLC B L Bhat. Bharti said after a long time a new process was started by the organization which is a step in right direction.
This will help in settling the grievances of the displaced people and dispensing justice to deserving migrants. Bharti also appealed the all community leaders to extend their full cooperation to Relief Organization in making this process a success.
Besides Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, other senior officers of organization, Zonal officers and Camp Commandants were also present in the public darbar.
