POONCH, July 14: Power House Hockey Club Poonch under the aegis of Hockey J&K organized exhibition matches at Sports Stadium, here today. The matches were organized as a mark of respect to congratulate former Member Legislative Assembly(MLA) Kanta Andotra on being nominated as president of the Hockey Jammu and Kashmir.
The matches were organized by the Coaches of the Club Pawan Kumar and Mukesh Kumar.
First match was played between Women Power House Club Poonch and Sub Junior Boys of Stadium Poonch.
PHHC (W) won the match by 2-0 goals both the goals were scored by Abhilove Kour in 15th and 45th minutes of the match.
The second match was played between Stadium Senior and Stadium Junior teams, in which Stadium Senior won the match by 3-2 goals. For Stadium Senior, Sanjeev Talvinder and Shokat netted the ball in 10th, 25th and 60th minutes of the match, while for Stadium Junior team, Shahid and Harsh netted the ball in 15th and 37th minutes of the match.
Nirdosh Kumar, In-charge Sports Stadium Poonch was the chief guest, while Madan Lal, Principal was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Ramprakash, Sourab Sharma and DK Raina.
The matches were organized under the technical supervision of Sham Lal Sharma, Vice president Hockey J&K.
