JAMMU, July 17: The Basic Leadership Camp for the NCC Cadets of J&K Directorate is under progress at NCC Camping ground Nagrota, here.
According to the organizers, the basic aim of organizing the camp is to teach the cadets novices of basic leadership, which includes Military Leadership Classes, Field and Battle Craft, Firing, Drill, Service Selection Board (SSB) procedures and other adventure activities.
To improve the learning and competitive spirit, a variety of professional, sports and cultural competitions are being conducted to ensure participation of maximum cadets in the activities.
During the Camp, the cadets are also being screened for different forthcoming country level NCC activities like Para Sailing, Mountaineering, Rock Climbing, Advance Leadership Camp and Inter Directorate Shooting Competition etc.
